October 23rd, 1941 : Admitted to 125th Convalescent Depot for pneumonia
June 5th, 1943 : Appointed Lance/corporal. Attended the course for junior NCO in August
March 13th, 1944 : Promoted to the rank of corporal
August 18th, 1945 : Transferred to the Palestine Force
October 30th : Embarked B.A.O.R.. Disembarked M.E. on November 5th.
February 22nd, 1946 : Appointed sergeant
June 9th: Discharged from the army and transferred to the Army Reserve
Before August 1946 worked as a clerk with Hillmor Building and decorating co. He was described as honest and trustworthy. He was living at 17 The Bayle, Folkestone, Kent and he lived there at least until 1973 where his name still appear at this address in the Canterbury phone book
1947-48 : He was a member of the Royal Army Medical Corps Association
April 4th, 1948 : His medals were sent to him at 17 The Bayle, Folkestone, Kent.
1975 : Married a second time to Anna Aspland (October-November-December) an a third time in 1993 a lady named Matcham
June 2003 : Died in Kent at the age of 85
